Bob book one

It's not perfect but I was blown away with Addison's reading ability with these books! I only walked her through the book once and she was on her way on her own. It is hard for her to not just memorize it because she has an incredible memory. I think she is finally understanding it's reading not memorizing (some memorizing is good, we have a lot of exceptions).

I am one proud of my little bookworm!

Giggles giggles

This is the grin that was buried under all the reflux issues his first 7 months of life. This is the glorious giggle that we knew we would find after we discovered his dairy allergy after 7 months. This is sweet boy we always knew we had----we just had to relieve the pain first. And now, he is a bright light in this family. Those first 7 months were the hardest in our lives but I would do it again to have my little love Calev Asher....because....just look.....

Firehouse Tour

Our friend Jeff is a fireman and invited the kids to come see the station. Everyone knows that firemen have one of the coolest jobs ever, so when Jeff and his wife suggested we bring the kids---I was all over it (I think maybe I was more excited than the kids, ha).

Shaving Cream Fun

I am having a hard time filling our time since we FINALLY dropped Calebs morning nap 6 weeks ago. One way I attempted to entertain them and aim a little lesson in colors for Caleb was some GREEN shaving cream. Generally Caleb is onto my teaching attempts within seconds and he is instantly disinterested, but I was able to be sneaky a bit longer this time. We did letters in the shaving cream and talked about the color. I was watching a baby that day so my attention was a bit split between the saving cream mess and the monitor!

Surprisingly, no stains!!!
