Apple Pickin'

There are a lot of places nearby where you can pick in season fruits and even pumpkins! We talked a lot about doing it last year but being new to the area, we weren't sure what was worth it and what was hokey.
Today we decided it was time to try out apple picking---and it was so fun! The kids even both crunched into an apple when we were still picking; they both ate it to the core! Addison and Caleb loved pulling "just the right" sole off the tree.
We came home with quite a load so, Apple pie and applesauce is on the menu. We will return for more too!
