29 Weeks 2 Days

I went to the doctor yesterday and while this isn't one of my official tummy pictures or posts I thought I would update!

Heartbeat: 160-170 (GIRL??!)

BP: 110/80

Weight:  Not looking anymore, but they said it was good.

Fundal:  30, which is a little big

Position:  Head down....for now

Glucose:  This was the interesting part.  They treat for gestational diabetes at 140 and although they do not medically treat you for a low score they want you to eat every two hours if you are 70 or below.  I was 72.  I was shocked and surprised.  Which OF COURSE made me immediately start to wonder if Rhema is a tiny little thing.  It would be the most random and very remote mixture of genetics if Rhema was small.  I am not sure why small babies scare me but they do!  I suppose two almost ten babies makes you only know chubby, sturdy babies!  This information coupled with the fact that I never have a big tummy---makes me a little self conscious and paranoid about the size of this babe.  At any rate, they said I need to eat more frequently.  Hopefully this makes Rhema grow and not other areas of my body like say.....my rear :)  No matter what it is worth it and I lost it all with the other two and so I will again!
Next appt:  I am supposed to start every two weeks, but I begged for every three and they said YES!!  So in three weeks we will be back to check on Rhema!

Hows Mommy:  Still been battling an URI.  I think the worst of it is over; there is just some coughing, chest congestion and a wicked headache left.  Hopefully it will be gone soon!

Not too much longer now!  Probably three months for me at 42 weeks---beginning of May!!!

I think my children are destined to be NINJAS, they know how to hide up in me!!! 

Winter Wonderland

I think it is supposed to be Spring soon, but not here in Nebraska...nope.  It is snowing.  Since it was "only" in the low 20s and high teens late this afternoon we bundled the kids up to play in the snow.  Bundling took 20 minutes and play lasted 15 minutes, what can you do?  It was worth it though!

28 weeks with Rhema (Third Trimester)

We are moving along with baby three!!!!  

Happy Third Trimester!

How's Rhema:  About the size of an eggplant, 2.25 lbs, 14.8 inches head to heel.  Rhema is adding more body fat these days and if he/she is like the other two they will have plenty of rolls at delivery

HB:  When I check at home its like 170s but I not good at counting so that maybe wrong :)

Doc Appt:  Next appt is Thursday 2/6 and then every other week, YIKES!

Hows big sis and bro:  A friend gave me a heart beat monitor and the kids LOOOOOVE to listen to Rhema!

Movement:  Still a crazy mover!!!!  My dear friend things the baby is probably transverse because of where I feel movement and the location of the heartbeat.  Guess I better get back into Yoga to get this thing HEAD DOWN!

How's Mommy:  Battling a wicked upper respiratory infection at the moment---ready for spring because this has been a long winter filled with germs from everyone we know and us!

My dearest Rhema:  We are so excited to have you join this family; you are a special little one in so many ways.  My prayer is that you arrive here safe and sound and in God's timing.  Your big brother and sister cannot wait to smuther you with hugs and kisses--I hope you know you have some of the best older siblings out there.  You are a precious and loved baby already---so many people have been praying for you especailly since we lost your little cabin mate Olive.  And thats what makes you special my love, you already have someone in Heaven that knows you and is watching you!  I am thankful God has released all my normal anxiety and fears of the newborn months with you; it is going to be a fun and crazy ride.  Cant wait to meet you----but not too soon.  Lets keep hoping for May :)

 Tummy comparisons

Although it is a different angle with Manna/Caleb---I still think I am carrying more similarly to the way I did with Blessing/Addison.  BUT my body still had not fully recovered from my first pregnancy when we got pregnant the second time---maybe that explains it.  Who knows!

New Years 2014

Matthew worked New Years Day this year so we did not do much---except eat....OF COURSE!

Here's looking forward to 2014....I am full of hope, joy and excitement for 2014.  I have confidence that our God will always equip us and God is always Good.  I am so thankful for my precious family and I am so thankful that God permeates his presence in the lives of my little ones because I fail so much as a mother.  He is strong when I am weak!!  Happy Belated 2014 to all!

Addison knew better than to ask to play in the snow---she never lasts more than 5 minutes. She may have born in the cold temps but our Southern Heritage must be in our genes somewhere
