17 weeks with our Caboose

Wednesday I went for my monthly appointment to check in on our lil caboose.

Heartbeat: 165

Measurement: 17/18 weeks. They do not do an official fundal measurement yet because it's a little early for it to be relevant/accurate.

That's about all we did during the visit. The heartbeat is holding steady at indicating a girl, according to the old wives tale. This has been my suspicion all along. So far the heartbeat tale has actually been true for us.

Feeling good overall but anxiously awaiting for those big consistent movements. I don't usually count it until they are big, undeniable and consistent :)

The anatomy ultrasound is November 19 and I am excited to see this love bug on a screen! We only had a super quick low tech one at 8 weeks to make sure there was only one baby this time! You couldn't see/hear much so I cannot wait! We will not find out gender but it is always good to see the baby and know if there is any big abnormality since we decline the genetic testing up to this point.

This was just a quick tummy shot a couple days before my appointment; the goober smile is for my excitement to show off the teenie bump finally 😁😁

Our Caboose

We are THRILLED and EXCITED to FINALLY share news about our CABOOSE, expected to arrive around 4/6/2016....another spring baby! This means we are little over 16 weeks now. Be excited with us, pray with us as our family transitions (again), praise the Lord for the blessings with us, celebrate with us; this is a VERY joyous time for us. This is THE last one, and we want to enjoy every aspect of this pregnancy and delivery!!!

I will keep this post brief as I have been DYING to post about it and do not have time to write much. In a few days I will post about how I told Matthew and a HILARIOUS video of the kids when we told them last weekend. Until then.....

Pumpkin Patch 2015

There is a lot to do around here during Fall...among our favorites is Bellvue Berry Farm. There are TONS of things for the kids to climb and play on....Pirate Ship, Playhouses, swings, sheds, rope swings, slides, bounce houses and more. There is also a "haunted" hayride (which is not haunted during the day when we go as you will see from the pictures) to a huge pumpkin patch. And this pumpkin patch actually grows the pumpkins...not some staged one like many places. The kids get to pick their pumpkin to decorate, but the rule is, you have to be able to carry it to select it and bring it home! We had a wonderful family day despite the HORRIBLE wind (again).

Picking pumpkins....we spent too much time at the apple orchard picking and eating apples, she kept trying to eat it!

Pumpkin picking rule: In order to pick the pumpkin you must be able to carry it back to the tractor!!!
